of Ghana is the pre-occupation of State Housing Company Limited
(SHC). It has concerned itself with this arduous task since its
inception in 1955 when it was called Gold Coast Housing Corporation and
operated as the main housing development agency of Government.
In July 1995, the State Housing Corporation
was converted to a Limited Liability Company and now operates as a
full-fledge commercial enterprise.
State Housing Company Limited has over the
years achieved impressive landmarks in the Real Estate Industry by providing
affordable, spacious, comfortable and quality housing estates. We have a
unique characteristic for being the only real estate developer spread all over
the country.
SHC is committed to the objective of operating
as a nationwide profitable land and housing agency, which makes housing more
accessible to institutions and individuals Ghanaians in Ghana and abroad.
It is Ghana's leading land developer and operates in a manner that contributes
directly to the orderly and efficient development of the country's housing
sector. This is effectively achieved through our reorganized operational
system which groups the regions into three blocks; Eastern, Western and Northern
zones.
