To make houses available
and affordable, SHC has instituted different modes of payment
procedures.
Modes of Payment:
First of all fill the
Application Form at the end of this page and
follow up with any of the following procedures.
Outright Sale:
A Full payment of any of our houses can be made and the keys taken over.
House Installment
Scheme:
- The Customer pays a minimum of 50%
of the total cost of the hose type of his/her choice before work
begins.
- When 50% of the project is completed
the customer is required to pay 50% of the balance due.
- Upon completion of the building, the
customer pays the remaining amount and the keys are handed over to him
or her.
Special
Scheme:
SHC under its special project scheme does
provide special package for recognized groups, associations and
institutions to meet their Home Ownership requirements.
Undertakings can be given to
financial institutions willing to support workers under their Home
Ownership Scheme.
Organizational
Purchases:
Organizations and firms can build with us and then sublet to their
workers.
Home Finance
Company (HFC):
Both resident and non-resident Ghanaians can purchase our houses through
the mortgage facilities provided by the HFC. To apply to HFC, you
must take our offer letter to them and fill our their application form.
After vetting, they will issue you with a facility letter confirming
their agreement to provide mortgage financing. SHC makes
allocation at such time when we have received the facility letter and
all required deposits have been made by HFC.
Service connections
and documentation is not included in the value of the houses.
Expected period of completion of a 2-bedroom house is approximately 4
months. For 3-4-bedroom house, it takes approximately 6-9 months
to complete. |
